| USDA Awards Anadarko Industries $50M IT Contract

April, 16, 2010) The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) awarded Anadarko Industries, LLC (AI) a follow-on five year $50M contract to continue providing End-User IT Support Services at large office locations throughout the United States. AI provides IT Support for the USDA Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) International Technology Service (ITS) organization supporting over 30,000 users. The work is currently being conducted at five ITS large office locations in Fort Collins, CO; Saint Louis, MO; Kansas City, MO; Lincoln, NE; and Washington, D.C. | AI Center Institutional Safety Services (CISS) Employees Receive Innovation Award from Johnson Space Center
| | Friday, April 16, 2010 | On March 30, the Anadarko Industries’ (AI) Center Institutional Safety Services (CISS) contract was the recipient of one of the first ever Safety & Health Innovation Awards bestowed by the Johnson Space Center (JSC) Contractor Safety Forum in recognition of the development and production of the “Safe, Not Sorry” (SNS) safety program in 2009. | Anadarko Industries wins NASA Contract for Center Institutional Safety Services at Johnson Space Center

(May 8, 2009, Houston, TX) Anadarko Industries, LLC (AI) of Houston was selected by NASA to provide safety and fire protection system maintenance support for the Johnson Space Center in Houston. The contract value is approximately $37 million.
Anadarko Industries will provide test safety support, fire protection system maintenance, mishap investigation support, safety awareness and motivation, and safety information management. The work will take place at Johnson and in its related facilities at Ellington Field and Sonny Carter Training Facility in Houston. Work also may be done at NASA facilities in El Paso, Tex., and NASA's White Sands Test Facility in New Mexico.
The time and materials with award fee contract will begin July 1, 2009. The base contract is for three years, with one two-year extension option.
A major subcontractor for this contract is MEI Technologies of Houston. | |

| Anadarko USDA Forest Service Employees Support National Forest Service Acquisition with New Technology

Anadarko contractors in Fort Collins, Colorado support the Acquisition Management Branch of the USDA Forest Service for computer applications. In January 2008, a team of eight Anadarko employees were tasked with the challenge of providing the Forest Service with a Virtual Incident Procurement system (VIPR) to be used for soliciting, awarding, and managing preseason agreements nationwide for the 2009 fire season.
The agreements are established in advance of anticipated forest fire emergencies. Automating national acquisitions is significant as last year the Forest Service spent 43% of its budget—$2.19 Billion—on Wildland Fire Management. | | Read More |
